ANNUAL REPORT

2009 - 2010

 BOARD OF GOVERNORS

The Board of Governors take great pleasure in presenting this Annual Report on the affairs and activities of the Council for the year ending March 31, 2010. The members will be happy to note that ICC has maintained its progressive trend in organizing activities and taking up and resolving various issues concerning Consulting Professionals. Major activities/ projects undertaken and the progress achieved during the year are outlined below:

ACTIVITIES/ PROJECTS

Examination Board:

ICC has been conducting exams for CIDC training programs at diploma as well as vocational level.

The Examination Board under the Chairmanship of Mr. B. Mazumdar former DG, CPWD and guidance of Er. O. P. Gupta, VSM, has conducted  117  exams for 133 diploma students in Civil, Electrical & Mechanical streams.

The board also conducted vocational exams in 14 streams, conducting  211 exams for 5937 students.

Executive Development Programs (EDP’s):

ICC was given the responsibility for conduct of CIDC’s Executive Development Programs.

Executive Development Programs are delivered on a continual learning philosophy and are ideal for working executives and entrepreneurs who are hard pressed for time and find it difficult to enroll for regular long duration programs.

Distribution of Certificates

The Council, for the first time in the country has provided the impetus and the organizational infrastructure to raise quality levels of all Consulting Professionals across the industry. This helps to secure wider appreciation of the interests of construction business by the government, industry and peer groups in society.
